The biblical truth that resounds in our Christian school's curriculum is that all things belong to God. It is important that we not presume that this truth is obvious or apparent to all. The task of a Christian school teacher is to expose God's fingerprints in ALL things.
It is our aim, that when students leave RCS they exemplify these characteristics in order to bring the light of God and His word into a hurting world, which will bring glory to Him.
Bibilical Through Lines that are incorporated throughout the Rimbey Christian School curriculum:
God-Worshipping - Students understand that worshiping God is about celebrating who God is, what God has done and is doing, and what God has created. Students see worship as a way of life.
Idolatry - Discerning - Students will understand when other "things" are more important to us than our relationship with God, they become idols. Students will be challenged to identify, understand and discern idols of our time and then to respond prophetically.
Earth- Keeping - Students will respond to God's call to be stewards of all of creation.
Beauty-Creating- Students will celebrate God as the #1 Creator and understand that when we create things we show that we're made in God's image. We offer praise to God by creating beautiful things. Our creativity makes God smile!
Justice- Seeking - Students will act as agents of change by identifying and responding to injustices.
Creation-Enjoying - Students will celebrate God's beautiful creation.
Servant-Working - Students will work actively to heal brokenness and bring joy.
Community-Building - Students will be active pursuers and builders of communal shalom.
Image-Reflecting - Students bear the image of God in their daily lives. All humans are image reflectors.
Order- Discovering - Students will find harmony and order in God's creation.
