Hi, I’m Jenny and so happy to be a part of the playschool. This is not a job; it is an absolute joy to work with children and watch the magical processes of “play” happen. I believe in providing variety in everything we do at class, with opportunities for kids to learn, to dream and to discover their talents. Yes, these young people have many talents already and building positive experiences is a step along their own unique paths of discovery. I grew up here in the community and live a short country drive outside of town with my husband and our two children.

Hello, my name is Jaine and I find it a huge privilege to be involved with Fingerprints Playschool.  It’s an honour to play, explore, and socialize with God’s kids. I really enjoy watching how children interact with one another and how these children develop their social, intellectual, and spiritual skills through play. I live on a farm with my husband and three boys.    

Together we value connecting with children to provide a nurturing environment in their initial introduction to upcoming learning years. Activities are designed to be fun and spark either imaginations or inquiries. We roll on the floor and jump in the air with them. Numbers and alphabet are a part of life and we strive to make playful games and adventures for many cognitive concepts, mindful of developmental needs and kindergarten readiness.

Hi, my name is Shauna and I am a new addition to Fingerprints Playschool. I grew up on a farm west of Rimbey, and returned about eight years ago as I was missing living in a smaller town and wanted to raise my children here instead of the city. I have four children, ranging from 20 years down to the youngest who is 5.

I feel blessed to be a part of this school and to be able to come to work each day to see the smiling little faces that are so eager to learn, play and make friends. It is more than a job, but an accomplishment to know that we make these children feel comfortable and cared for while they are away from their families in the early stages, before they begin kindergarten. I am really looking forward to see how they evolve throughout the year socially and developmentally, and of course...to see all the reading, teaching, and playing!
